How it works
- You send VHP. Any amount from 1 VHP up to the largest swap shown.
- You get KOIN in the same transaction. 1:1 minus the fee, sent from the desk's KOIN.
- Your VHP goes to work. It joins the desk's node and produces blocks. Each block turns some of it back into KOIN for the next person. Fees stay in the node too, so the pool keeps growing.
Why is there a fee?
VHP turns back into KOIN only as it produces blocks, which takes time. The desk takes on that wait for you. The fee pays for running the node.
Why is there a limit?
The desk can only pay out KOIN it holds, and sending KOIN on Koinos needs Mana at least equal to the amount. The page always shows the most you can swap right now. It grows with every block the desk produces.
Is my money ever held by the desk?
No. Your VHP and your KOIN move in one transaction. Either both happen or nothing does. The desk contract never holds anyone else's funds, and you set the minimum you'll accept.
